Welcome to Wheldale Heights At Wheldale Heights, our mission is to make every day better for adults living with complex needs. Our Nurse-led team provides person-centred nursing care that focuses on maximising independence and building everyday living skills. We aim to empower people to live fulfilled lives. The home has two small units which support adults living with complex mental and physical health needs typically arising from neurological conditions such as brain injuries, dementia, and motor neurone disease. The individuals we support often have multiple diagnoses, complexities, and risks that might otherwise require care in a hospital or higher acuity setting. With our care, they can remain within the community, reducing the need for hospital or secure facility admissions.
