About our home We provide a supportive environment at Shire Oaks Court. People get the care they need, and are able to stay closer to their loved ones. Shire Oaks Court has 30 bedrooms, each with an en-suite, across three units. With this small group living, we’re able to provide a homely and supportive environment that’s more responsive to individual needs. The home has communal dining and living spaces, an activities hub, therapy room, multi-faith room, beauty salon, visitor’s suite and a large accessible garden. Each unit has a sensory bathroom, with colour mood lighting and wireless Bluetooth system, designed to provide a calming and relaxing experience. Coppice Unit Coppice Unit supports adults living with early on-set dementia, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities. Residents on Coppice Unit have direct access to the garden from their bedrooms. Miners Unit Miners Unit supports those who were assigned male at birth and living with complex mental health needs. Saddlers Unit Saddlers Unit supports adults living with acquired brain injuries.
